Annual Meeting. [by telegraph.] Christchurch, To-day. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Shipping Co. was held at noon today. The report and balance-sheet were read. Mr H. Murray-Aynsley, Deputy-Chair-man of Directors, in moving the adoption of the report said that since entering upon the steam traffic the Company had* despatched four steamers homewards, which, ‘ besides other cargo and passengers. Replying to Mr MoGlashan, ef Dunedin, the Chairman said it was found more convenient to have a purely central directory, but still there were no , objections to Dunedin being represented on the Board if the shareholders so desired.
