Produce—Potatoes, 60s per ton; carrots, 25s per ton; chick wheat, is 6d to 2s per, bushel; oats, 200 bushels at is 6d to is pd per bushel; peas, 25 6d per bushel; tea, 21s, guaranteed. Sundries sold well; there was a capital attendance. Mr T, Bullock 'reports of the Horse Market for the week ending Saturday, August 11: — There .was a good attendance of country settlers, but biddings- wbre rather languid, especially for medium'draughts suitable, for farm work, and several were turned out unsold. A few horses of a light description 1 changed, hands at better prices than at prevwus ,sales..,'-Put ,of’ to-day’s ,entries (23) 9 were sold as follows :■—-Medium draughts of a light description, Ll 3 los to Ll 7; aged and in(moH|.| i' jslight harness horses- of sm mfenor description, L$ 10s to Ly 10sdo, of riUthdri :Better 'clasS,' suitable' for a town earner.
