[t’KK PRESS ASSOCIATION.] A Bequest. Auckland, To-day. Mr Humphrey Rawlins, formerly a plumber, has died. He bequeathed Ll5O to the Young Men’s hristiau Association, and the balance of his estate, estimated at about LI 500, io t e establishment of a scholarship for public schoolboys. A Stabbing Case.
A man n mod vicQuinlan was dangerously stabbed by three Kanakas in a drunken row at the Auckland Hotel. A Collision. New Plymouth, To-day A serious accident happened on Saturday night on the South r ad. Two horsemen, one riding into town and the other going out, came into collision with eieh other. One horse was killed, and one of the riders named Fincham was seriously injured.
