ASH BU ETON. — To-day. (Before His Honor Ac ing-Judge Harvey). IN DANKUOPTCY. In re Gerald Dyson Branson, an application was made for an order of discharge. Mi Crisp appeared on behalf of the bankrupt. Ue said that the trustee’s report had not been forthcoming on account of the latter being e gaged at Wellington on Parliamentary business, but there was no opposition. His Honor said that Under the circumstances he would grant the order, but expressed an opinion that the trustee should have made his report. In re VV illiam Hickley Gundry, an application waa made for an order of dis-

charge. Mr Crisp appeared for the bankrupt.—Order grafted. In re George Tate and Charles Masters, an application was made for an order of discharge. Mr Wilding appeared for the bankrupts, and Mr Crisp opposed. Mr Crisp said that the ground of his opposition was that the papers filed in the bankruptcy were informal. Counsel argued that the fact of the notice ol a meeting of creditors and notice of an intention to make an application of discharge were advertised in the same issue of the newspaper showed that the Debtors and Creditors Act had not teen complied with, Mr Wilding having replied, His Honor said he did not think the notice given was sufficient, and the application must be adjourned, leave being given to renew it at the next sitting of the Court. In re Samuel James Bright. Mr Purnell applied for an order of costs. — Granted. The Court then adjourned.
