Thesq,We placed at 17s €d per head, a couple of pens being secured for shipment. The consignmerifof the St. Andrew's half and threequarter breds whose exceptional quality commanded, considerable attention, realised prices which'-tamld have been greater had they had a more lucky draw in our auction —IS® 9d for half-breds, and , 17s 6d for three-quarter breds. This consignment, although late in the sale, created:an; amount of competition .which augurs well for any more of the same stimp coming forward. Messrs Gould arid Cameron's cross* bred ewes were-, as usual, remarkably well grazed, and realised up to 16s, Our other principal sales in crossbreds being those on account of-Mr R. : Wright, al 16s 6d to 17s} Mr Ruddenkku’s, at 16s and 16s 6d; Mr R. A. Barker’s ewes, at ijs and ids; Mr Moody’s mixed crossbreds, at 15s to ids 6d. In light crossbreds, Mr C. A. Cunningham’s -jiheep were sold up to 13s 6d-j \ irierinos for the same owner, at 8s; {merinos for Mr H. J. Hall, at 8s; crossbreds for Mr Holland, at 13s fid; etcil Irifat cattle there; was above an average entry. On account of Mr W. Pearsoii.we placed 20 head of very prime cattle, 17 steers of the number ranging from L 7 los to Ll2 10s per head,,nlk|arig an- average of over Lg per head; heifers of the same line L 6 15s to L 7 zes.
