Piper’s Rayenswood ... 2 Melbourne and Rattler also ran. Tommy won as he liked. Open Handicap Steeplechase, 3 mile®. Bateman ... ... ••• ... 1 Hercules ... ... ... ... 2 Quamby ... 3 Clarence, Levant and Ravenswood also ran. Won by a short head. Tallt-Ho Plate ; 2 miles. Mr 0. J. Penfold’s Cammy ... 1 Mr Bouyer’s Tommy 2 Mr Lance’s Traitor ... ... 3 Five others ran. A good race, halflength* victory.
