'VT’OTICE is hereby given to the Cathobe public of this colony that, at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on the 26th inst., alterations have been in the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the “ Colonial Land Sett'ement and Endowment Association of New Zealand, Limited,” which entirely change the first object of the Company, and constitute it a purely Mercantile and Land Settlement Association. Catholics as such have, therefore, no other connection with the said Company, than the mere fact of some of them holding shares j in it «s in any other Mercantile Company.
