Goodson's building, where the fire occurred last night, was sold to the Australian Mutual Provident Society this week for L 14.400, as an investment. Christchurch, To-day. At 2 o’clock this morning a grocer's shop and a three-roomed house at Woolston was burned down. It was insured in the Standard for L 200; the Liverpool, London and Globe, L 220;0 0; and in the North British Mercantile Ll5O. Nothing was saved.
