We offered x 100 sacks.ex “ Hauroto”at our auction on Tuesday, hnd sold as follows:—Best quality, L 3 Igsperton; second da, L 3 10s 6d per ton. The sale was .very largely attended, nearly the whole of the principal houses in the produce trade being represented. We now report a fairly firm market at our quotations.—Oats : Considerable quantities remain in store, holders bayingrefused to accept the low prices now tntihg; as a consequence, there have been increased inquiries, and for good feed qualities we think we might anticipate an advance of id to ad pet bushel.—New Zealand Flax : Ll 9 to L2O per ton, but demand only limited.
