[from our parliamentary correspondent.] Wellington, To-day. I understand that the Son. Ernest Gray, of Canterbury, has sent in his resignation as a member of the Upper House. I learn that the Native Land Company's Bill is definitely to come on for the second reading this afternoon. After Mr DeLautour has spoken, the Minister for Lands will make a short speech, pointing out that the Bid affects the native policy of the Government, who must oppose. The debate will i>a adjourned at 5.30, till a future day, the Government having set apart this evening for Sir G. Grey's quasi no-confidence motion.
