'£6 per ton; tea, 2js, guaranteed. Carcase-pork; 3 j£d per lb. A large quantity of harness and sundries sold well, there being a capital attendance throughout the day. Mr T. Bullock, reports; of the Horse Market for the week ending Saturday, July 14th: —36 • horses were yarded for the day’s sale, including eight sold under bill of sale. The majority of the entries were of an inferior description, in fact very fey* -really good, useful: farm horses have been brought forward for sale lately. For good stock there are numerous enquiries, and anything like young draughts of a good description that are offered fetch full value. 22 of those offered were sold at the following prices,, viz.;—Medium draughts of a good description, £2O to L 26, with a good demand; ditto.of rather a light description, 118 to Ll 9 ; three-year-old colts, medium, £l4 to Ll 7 ; aged draughts of a good • description, Lio 10s to Ll 3; Tight harness horses, L 6 ros, L 7 ; hacks, not very good, L7to L 9 10s; ditto, weeds, L2 15s to £4 17s 6d; aged and inferior, draughts, L 3 IS* to £lO 10s. The well-known racehorse Nimrod was sold under bill bf' sale and fetched L2l. Implements : Dray, Ll2 ; double-furrow plough, L 8 ; sundries at market rates. -
