Quarantine Proclamation. ' A proclamation had been issued today declaring the various ports of China and Fiji infected places, and all vessels coming therefrom to be placed in quarantine. [Received July 14, 1.30 p.m.] Journalistic Enterprise. Melbourne, To-day. The Argus has despatched Mr ,Julian Thomas (the Vagabond) to report on the New Hebrides. A Necessary Precaution. Quarantine has been established here for vessels from Fiji, in consequence of the report that smallpox, cholera, and measles are prevalent there.
