The Third Annual Show of the above will be held in the TOWN HALL, ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, August 3rd and 4th, When prizes will be offered in 113 different classes. There will be a grand distribution of over 100 exhibits selected by the Committee at great care and cost. Tickets of admission, entitling to a chance of a prize, at a cost of one shilling "each can be obtained frotn the Secretary or any member of the Committee. The following special prizes have been kindly given by various gentlemen : The following are confined to the District ; 1. A copy of Tegetmier’s “ Illustrated Book of Poultry,” value £1 Is, for the best pair of White Dorkings (cock and hen). (N-B. —For this prize special entry and exhibits are required.) 3. A copy of Tegetmier’s “ Illustrated Book of Pigeons,” for the best pair of Antwerps in Show. 4. Wright’s “Illustrated Pigeon Manual,” for the best pair of Jecobins in Show.
