' Ashburton Guardian Office, Monday aftemoen. Alfred Harrison reports his weekly sale as follows Saturday, June 30 : Very few horses weresold, although l had several enquiries for good teams. Cows found a good sale, every entry being disposed of at good prices, up to L 9 as fid. Pigs were plentiful and prices good, every pin being sold. Fowls, 2s to 3s 4d per pair; ducks, 4s; geese, 9s; turkeys, 13s per ' pair. Implements : Drill, dray, spring trap, ■J'ploaghs, harrows, etc., sold at market values. , Carcase pork, 4d to 4 j£d; inferior, 3d to3>£d. ‘ potatoes, 50s per ton ; carrots, 30s; parsnips, jOs j oats, is to is fid per bushel (200 bushels, a poor lot); chck- wheat, is fid to 2S per bushel Tea, 21s, guaranteed.
