Dull market and average a entry. Wool, Sheepskins, Hides, Fat an^T^allpw—At our weekly sale on Thursday we had a' fairly large entry and a good attendance of buyers. Butchers’ crossbred skins sold at 3s 3d, 1 3s fid, 4s, 45 2d, 4s fid. $s 2d, anduptofis; dopoerino sold at 3s 4d, 3s fid, 4s t 0 45 lid. . .Country skins, of which we had a large consignment, sold well when in good condition, there being more competition for dry skins at this time of the year than fresh ones. We sofd.crossbredsat as 2d, as fid, 2s Bd, 35 lod, ss, 59,3 d and up tofis 8d; merinos, is pd, zs yd, ys, 3s fid, according to staple and preservation, these being the top prices. Fleace wool, crossbred, we sold at 4Jfcd per lb,-4oor condition. Rough fat sold very well, 2jfd, 2#d and being realised fcr butchers’ best, 2d for inferior. Country fat, well saved pod dry, sold at 2jid per lb. Hides and 'calfskins -sold at S&d per lb, if sound ; a)£d.foc cut and .damaged.
