Ashburton Guardian Office, Monday afternoon. Mr T. Landed property: I offered rural section 28752, containing Istores, on account of Messrs Tancred and A Wan, hut the biddings not reaching owners’ limit* It was passed in. There were several inquiries after the sale, so that it is likely to be aoldprivatdy.. I have sold- town section 448, Burbettstreet; for the sum of LBO. Alfred Harrison reports for the week ending June 16th as follows:—On Thursday, June 14th, I held a . clearing sale at Alford Forest Hotel, for Mir John Bowicfe, when I disposed of: horses, implements, stock and sundries. Harness and sundries sold, well, Tea, 21s. There was a good though business was not quite so brisk as usual
