[Pbrs.s. Wakatipu, at Wellington. [ London, Jan. 9. The steamer Colombo, which is grounded in the Suez Canal at present, completely blocks the traffic. Negotiations between England and France on the subject of the control of Egyptian finances are at a complete standstill, the arrangements proposed on either aide being mutually unsatisfactory. Madame Christine Nillson is at present suffering from an affection of the throat, which will prevent her appearing in publicfor some time to come. The crops in Lincolnshire have become completely sodden through the late heavy rains, and their entire destruction is considered a matter of certainty.
