Hortiooitukai Socxety.— The meeting of this Society, which was to have been he’d last evening, was postponed on account of there not being a sufficient attendance of members to foim a quorum.| The Crops in Otago. —From all parts of Otago, except in one or two small corners, the best news comes as to the anticipated yield of the harvest. Cutting has begun in the northern part of the province, but it will be a week or two before it is general in the south. The crops of oats especially will be large.
