VICTORIA, v. NEW SOUTH WALES. [reutbr’s telegrams—copyright.] Melbourne, Yesterday. The Intercolonial match, Victoria v. New South Wales, was resumed here to-day, when the home team, with one wicket down and 60 runs to their credit, continued their second innings, and at the conclusion of the day’s play had scored 332 runs with four wickets yet to fall. The principal scorers were Horan 129, and Midwinter 38. Great interest was taken in the match, and arrangements have been made to play it out.

The home team went in first, and were all

disposed of for a total of 226. The match was continued to-day, and when stumps were drawn the visitors had scored 269 for the loss of nine wickets.
