stood that Mr W. B. Dallin, the wellknown barrister, will offer himself as a candidate for the East Sydney constituency, a vacancy having occurred by thfc resignation of Mr J. McElhone, who will sit in the Legislative Assembly for the Upper Hunter district. The Oreswick Disaster. Melbourne, To-day. The subscriptions on behalf of the widows and. orphans at Greswick, already amount to L 6,000, and is expected to reach Li 0,000.
