CHRISTMAS TREE.
The Primitive Methodist Church is gay with fancy goods just now. The'pretty things, consisting of all kinds of articles suitable sents, are arranged on a long table, arid >m'the church stands an enormous Christmas Tree, laden with presents. The admission is a shilling, which entitles the patron to a chancp., of a prize. The Christmas Tree will be ;qp.vieW.,>> this evening and to-morrow, and it was, /V prepared for a good object it should be' patronised. A bevy of young ladies' keep watch and ward over the tree, and dispose of the tickets to the visitors. .
