The Ashburton Brass Band has kindly offered its services for the occasion. Lawn Tennis, Croquet, Fireworks, etc. Presents for the stalls will be thankfully received by Mrs Trevor, or atthoParsonage. Proceeds to the debt on St Stephen s Church. Gates open at 2 p.ra,; Tea from 5 p.m. Admission (including tea), 2a ; children, Is. n3O RAND TEMPERANCE DEMONVJT STRATION. ANNIVERSARY DAY—SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16. A Procession will leave the Templar Hall, at 1 p.m., for the Alfred Mill Paddocks, where PRIZES to the value of £ls will be competed for ; to be followed by a TEA in the Town Hall, at 5.30, catered by Mr Thomas Taylor. To conclude with a Vocal and Instrumental CONCERT, when Mr Weeks wi 1 wield the baton. Tickets for the whole, 2s 6d ; Tea only, 2i ; Sports only, Is. May be obtained from all Lodges and Temperance Societies in the district, and UMMER FLOWER TOWN HALL, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 30, 1882. Prizes will be offered in 62 classes, as per schedule, and paid pro rata should there be a deficiency of funds. Open to all except nurserymen.
