COMMERCIAL.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received a produce telegram dated London, November 24th, 1882, giving the following particulars:— Wool: The sales comprise about 96,000 bales. Up to date 30,000 bales have been sold. The total quantity withdrawn to date is 2,800 bales. The Home and German demand is good, but from other quarters the demand is poor. Scoured, short staple merino heavy in grease. Coarse greasy crossbred, coarse washed, and coarse scoured ditto, have declined to id per lb. For superior greasy the market is unchanged, and fine crossbred is firmer.
