ASHBURTON AGRICULTUAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.
The entries for the ensuing show in connection with the A. and P. Association closed with the Secretary (Mr George Jameson) last night. Appended are the entries for this year and also for 1881
Thus it will be seen that this year’s entries show the grati ying increase of 84 on those of last year, the principal increase being in the classes for horses and extra exhibits’ This is very satisfactory, seeing that in many places, Christchurch and Timaru, for example, the entries for this year showed a marked fading off as compared with last year.
