No entry will be received except on the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint; their decision on all points connected with carrying out the above programme to be final. 3. Canterbury Jockey Club racing rules strictly adhered to. 4. A district horse shall mean any horse that has been common!y resident in the Ashburton County previous to August Ist, 1882, and up to the date of the forthcoming meeting, and owned by a person who has resided in the said County during the same period. 5. Qualification fee, £2 2s; members of the A.R.O. free. 7. Acceptances and sweeps to be paid to the Secretary not later than 9 p.m, on Thursday, November 16th. 8, Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable, in accordance with this programme, for expenses of the course.
