NOTICE op scholarships. On the 13th November, at 9.30 a.m., will begin at Ashburton an Examination for THREE SCHOLARSHIPS, each of the annual value of twelve pounds and tenable for three years. Two of the said Scholarships will be restricted to boys attending the primary schools of the County of Ashburton, and one to boys other than pupils of the said schools. The age of candidates must not have exceeded twelve years on the first day of October, 1882. The subjects of examination will be those set for Class B of the scholarships of the North Canterbury Board, with the exception of elementary science.
