No entry will be received except on the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint ; their decision on all points connected with carrying out the above programme to be final. 3. Canterbury Jockey Club racing rules strictly adhered to. 4. A district horse shall mean any horse that has boon commonly resident in the Ashburton County previous to August Ist, 1882, and up the date of the forthcoming meeting, a: 1 owned by a person who has resided in the said County during the same period. 6. Qualification fee, £2 2s; members of the A.R.C. free, 6. All entries and nominations to be accompanied by entrance fees, name and age of horse, and colors of rider, and in tht /lands of the Secretary, addressed to Quill’s Hotel, not later than 9 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, November Ist ; weights will be published on Monday, November 13th. 7. Acceptances and sweeps to be paid to the Secretary not later than 9p. m. on Thursday, November 16th. 8.
