There was a large attendance from all parts of;, Australia and New Zealand, but high prices were not realised. Darebin was sold for 1,550 guineas, which was the highest price offered for any horse dur- : ing the sale. Stockwell changed owners - at 660 guineas, Bagot at 500 guineas, and Flying Jib at 300 guineas, Prometheus was withdrawn, the highest ~ offer being 800 guineas. For Assyrian " 490 guineas was bid, and for Savanaka 250 guineas, but in each case the offer was refused. Prorogued. Sydney, Yesterday. Both Houses of Parliament were prorogued to-day.
