Edward Cookson Thinks this a fitting opportunity to return his thanks to the residents of Ashburton and district, for the patronage extended to him during the past eight years, and also for the kindly sympathy he experienced at the time of the burning of his stables. That loss has now been made good, and he will bo able to serve his patrons even better in the future than ho has done in the past. 729 e f pHRESHING BOOKS printed on the j shortest notice, at the Office of this
