London, July 6. Another Fenian murder is reported from Dublin, the victim being a man who at one time belonged to the Fenian brotherhood, but who seceded from it, and thereby incurred the hatred of the organisation which has compassed his death. Some very severe hailstorms have been experienced in Switzerland. The crops have suffered greatly in consequence, and in some districts have been totally destroyed. In consequence of the increasing number of undetected murders the Government have decided to employ bloodhounds to track the perpetrators of future outrages in Ireland. The Russian Government have sent a special envoy to Oabul to negotiate with Abdul Rahman for the concession of special commercial privileges to Russian subjects. The French military authorities have re-introduced into the army the use of the drum, which was discontinued some time ago. > ' The hostilities which broke out in 1879 between Chili and the United Republics of Bolivia and Peru, have now terminated, the Chilians having evacuated Peru.

Disputes have again arisen respecting the exact boundaries of Northern Afghanistan, which were defined by Earl Granville in Oct., 1872. It has been agreed to refer their demarcation to the joint decision of England and Russia. Irish riots of a serious character have broken out in various parts of the country At Tredegar, Monmouthshire, the artillery have had to be called out, and they are now engaged in quelling the disturbances.

The Times, in a leading article on the fiscal systems in force in the different Australian colonies, disputes the statements of Mr Jeffray in respect to the commercial supremacy of Victoria.
