THE TICHBORNE ESTATES.
The Boston Sunday Herald has the following telegraphic message, under date San Francisco, May 13th; — “ Ferris, alias Sir Roger Tichborne, the Californian claimant mentioned some ' months ago, is again in this city. His attorney says that recently he has been • put in connection with three persons, residents of this State, formerly in the employ of the r l ichborne family. One Charles Burden, was page to Sir Edward Doughty, Tichborne’s uncle, recently administrator of Quohumn County. Another is a woman living in Aleraeda County, who was in the employ of the family for twelve years, and was married in 1855 in the Tichborne private chapel. The third is a man formerly employed as gardener for Hfenry Tichborne. These three met Ferris at an attorney’s office last Saturday, and, after a conversation, recognised and acknowledged him as Roger Tichborne. Arrangements are now being made for Tichborne to visit Fr. Le Febyre, his former spiritual adviser, now living in Paris.”
