July Bth—Entries in »draughts-and hacks not numerous, but a fair ,bB proportion changed bands. Several cows were a, -solid; prices unimportant. Pigs looked upon 1;,/ With curiosity; very few yarded. Fowls Sold as high as ,;s 3d per pair. Carcase pork Sold ■ well at 3 y z per lb. Produce Potatoes, 50s ’ <; fper Ion; carrots, 35s per ton; onions ojsjfd and *■* i c pp er -11,; barley, 3; per bushel; chick wheat, 3s per bushel; o'at 3s per bushel. Tea, 213. ,J,,!< 'i3>2 to'sd per lb. Harness, and sun- ' dries f sold-, fairly well, the attendance being very good. Mr T. Bullock reports, for the-week- ending Inly Bth ;— Horse Market—At the Bazaar, Burnett street, on Saturday, only 12 horses were entered, most of which were of an inferior description. Farmers having useful horses for sale are holding back for better 1 prices, as the demand just now is very.dimjted, • l> and prices ruling low, which is generally the case at this season of the year, but in the course of a month, about the commencement ;of spring, I have no doubt that better prices .will be obtained. Out of those entered, medium draughts fetched Ll 5 ros, and Lx6 10s. Light a harness horses, L 4. 15s to L 8 ; inferior dp.-and scrubbers, from 20s to Lj ss. Three cows, Ls, L 5, and Ls 10s.
