MELBOURNE EXHIBITION, 1881 Extract from the Jury Report on Sewing Machines—" The Premier Place was awarded to a Wheeler and Wilson Machine, which performed the feat of sewing together all the parts of a pair of moleskin trousers in nine (9) minutes, doing its work smoothly and well.” ONLY GRAND GOLD PRIZE, PARIS EXHIBITION, 1878.
