A CORRECTION.

TO THE EdITOB. Sib, —I see a local in your issue of 19th instant, in which it is stated “ that I fell and broke my leg on account of the horse ■hying and bolting,” whereas the fact is when on coming off the high crown on to the slippery clay siding all four legs of the horse slipped from under him, and he fell on his right side, with my leg underneath. As the statement in the local reflects upon my riding, you would much oblige you would alter the s'.atement. I have had to have the leg reset, and am still suffering a great deal of pain.—l am, etc., W. Cptbbbbt. Longbeach road, Winslow, June 21.
