PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Road Board of the Longbeach District propose under and pursuant to The Public Works Act, 1880, to STOP the following ROAD, viz.: — All that parcel of land, containing 26 acres 3 roods 33 perches, or thereabouts, being part of a road reserve passing by and through the sections numbered 22539, 20692, 0703, 8417, 8450, 678.3. 0787, 8342, 8451, 6788, and 0792, as shown on the plans IS os. 483, 507, 508, deposited in the Land Transfer Office of the Christchurch Survey District, and extending from the junction of roads at the north-western corner of R.S. 22539 to the junction of roads on the north-eastern boundary or 6792, having a uniform width of 100 links throughout ; and in lieu thereof to makes the following roads, viz.: —All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement, 5 acres 2 roods 10 perches, or thereabouts, be the same more or less, being part of the sections numbered 6805, 7206, 6^31, 20242, as shown on the plan No. 508 deposited in the Land Transfer Office of the Christchurch Survey District, and extending from the road at the junction of sections 22539, 6805, 7206, 6831, 6*90, 8417, to the road at the junction of sections 6793, 8417, and 20242, having a uniform width of 100 links throughout, and all that parcel of land containing 4 acres 3 roods 27 perches, or thereabouts, being part of the sections numbered 6773 and 6777 to 6732, as shown on the plan No. 335 deposited in the Land Transfer Office of the Christchurch Survey District, and extending from the junction of a road with the northernmost corner of rural section No. 6773, through that section and sections 6777 to 6782 to the northernmost corner of reserve No. 1438, having a uniform width throughout of 100 links, and to exchange the whole of the land occupied by the road proposed to be stopped for the land required for such new roads, and notice is further given that a plan has been prepared Or ine road proposed to be stopped, and a survey made and plans prepared of the said new roads to be made showing the lands throughout which they pass, and the names of the occupiers and owners of such lands, and that the said plans are on view at the Office of the Longbeach Road Board, on the Longbeach road.
