Growls from the Exhibition. The Westland Commissioners have entered a protest against tho action of tho Exhibition jurors in refusing to judge exhibits not in the catalogue. The Commissioners exhibit a very fine gas retort, made from Brunner fireclay, which is thought to have been accidentally omitted from the catalogue. The jurors refuse to report upon it. Sudden Death of a Horse Trainer. Dunedin, To-day. James Kenneth, a cirlor, died very suddenly at Palmerston yesterday, whilst training horses for the races.
