ANOTHER DIABOLICAL OUTRAGE IN IRELAND.
* Assassination of the Irish Secretary and Under-Secretary. [by cable]. London, May 5. Intelligence is to hand from Dublin of the assassination of the new Irish Secretary and Under-Secretary. The particulars at present received state that Lord Frederick Cavendish and Mr Thomas Haviland Burke, the Undersecretary, were walking through Phoenix Park, in Dublin, when they were mysteriously stabbed to death in a horrible manner.
