T7URMERS REQUIRING THESE CELEBRATED DRILLS WOULD DO WELL TO ORDER THE SAME AT ONCF, AS THERE ARE ONLY A FEW LEFT. POYNTZ & CO., AGENTS. -4 5P m Below are a few TESTIMONIALS from farmers in the district who have used these Drills: — “ The drill that I purchased from you has been a great success, two horses working it all day easily. It puts the seed well down, out of the reach of the birds, and is a meat saving in such. The drill is strongly built, and very much more durable than the American drill. I find that grain put in with the drill holds so firmly to the ground ihat the birds cannot pull it up ; and when they break it off it grows again. A. G. Earle.” •‘ I was mud. pleased with the working of the Anglo-American Drill. Two horses worked it easily. One speciality I liked with it was it cut away the rubbish well. It is easy of management, and very evenly distributes the seed. Geo. W. Leadley.” “I have much pleasure in expressing my entire satisfaction with the Anglo-American Drill which 1 purchased from you. It is both easy of draught, distributes the seed very evenly and well, and can he worked with equal advantage in both light and heavy land David Butterick.” “ I purchased an Anglo-American Drill from you last season, and I am perfectly satisfied with it. It is easily managed by one man, and I can recommend it to be a serviceable drill for the colony, both for lightness of draught, strength, and durability. It will sow all kinds of seed : mangolds, turnips, grass seed, beans, and peas, and everything that a farmer wants to sow. J. Davis.” “The drill (17 coulters) I bought from you gives me every satisfaction. There is nothing about it as I can see I could improve. It certainly will be a most durable machine, and lam glad I took it before an American. The durability is combined with lightness : I can work it all day with three light horses ; it is easily managed. I have sown wheat, oats, barley, peas, and grass seed this season, and in each good work has beon done. Where the land was rough, I gave it one stroke of the harrows after. What pleased me most was to see the grass seed and clover being sown on the top of the land at the same time the grain was drilled in ; all it required was the chain harrow. I wonder to myself now how 1 have done without such a machine so long, as I have seen now the usefulness of it. Every farmer ought to have one of these drills.
