Trod Upon. Opdnake, To-day. At the inquest yesterday, on the body of Ford, a verdict was returned that deceased came by his death while lying down in the open, and by a horse treading on his abdomen. Drowned at Sea. Henry Sayers, seaman, aged 24, who shipped aboard the ship City of Lucknow, here last December, was drowned on the passage to Oregon. His parents reside near Dunedin.
