MR. TAYLOR AND “ ROBIN AFLECK.”

To the Editor.

!3ie, —I am at all times very happy to give an explanation to any of my actions when challenged, and 1 should be exceedingly pleased to answer some statements published by an anonymous correspondent injreply to a letter signed by myself, in ye ar issue of Monday last. I have a fair idea who “ Robin A fleck ” is, but, as his real name has not been publicly annc unced, I am debarred from answering hiili communication. In order to give myseljf an opportunity to do so, I would challenge your anonoymous correspondent to give his name, so that there will be no false light thrown on the matter, but until auih time as he does so, I must decline entering into any controversy in reference to: his assumptions. Suffice it to say, that “ Robin Afleck ” will come off second best. Apologising for trespassing on your space, to notice a letter signed by a man , who is evidently ashamed or afraid to sign bis own name. —I am, etc., | Thomas Taylor. Ashton, April 29.
