The successful result of the last year’s shipment on farmers’ account, and the exceedingly satisfactory prices realised, combined with very moderate charges, as compared with those of other merchants, encouraged us to go more extensively into this particular branch of business this year. We do so feeling confident that the Farmers of this County will SUPPORT A LOCAL FIRM, whose interest is inseparably allied with their own, rather than encourage agencies of firms, whose only interest in the district is to make as much profit out of the place as possible, without leaving anything adequate in return. On this ground alone we think we may fairly rely on the good sense of our friends to work with us, and so help to PUSH THE DISTRICT AHEAD.
