; [by telegraph.] ! Dunedin, To-day. The weather having looked up play was resumed at 2.30 this afternoon, Davenport and Allen facing the bowling of Peate and Midwinter. After two maidens Allen fell a victim to Peate. 26 —29. Davenport, after cutting Midwinter for 2, was clean bowled by him. 3 —20 —31.
