LATEST FROM EUROPE [per PvKUTEB’s agency.] Lome’s [lntentions. J'London, Jan. 11. It is announced that the Marquis of Lome will return to Canada at an early date. Further Seizures. Further extensive seizures of arms have been made by the police at Tralee, in County Kerry, and Clonmel, in County Tipperary, Ireland. His Successor. London, Jan. 10. It is announced that Sir John Holker, Q.C., M.P. for Preston, who was At-torney-General in Lord Beaconsfield’s Adminstration, has been appointed to succeed the late Sir Robert Lush as Lord Justice of Appeal. t The Cloture. It has transpired that at a recent Cabinet meeting Ministers have had under consideration measures to be proposed next session for the reform of the procedure in the House of Commons, and it is further known that at to-day’s meeting of the Cabinet it was finally decided to propose the adoption

of the cloture when the same shall be demanded by a simple majority of the House.

Another Seizure of Anns in Ireland. The search for arms in the proclaimeed districts of Ireland is being rigorously carried on by the police. At Cork yesterday an extensive seizure of rifles and other weapons which had been concealed in a vault was made. A quantity of dynamite tvas also found in the same place and was confiscated by the police. j A Promising Society.

The police to-day effected the capture at Mill street, Dublin, of some members belonging to a secret society, which had projected the wholesale murder of farmers who continue to pay rent. The leader of the band, who was arrested last month at Macroom, County Cork, turned informer, and thus enabled the police to effect the capture of his confederates.
