(per reuter's agency.] Declined With ThanksMelbourne, Yesterday. The Agent-Generalship for Victoria in London has been offered to Mr Murray Smith. He has, however, declined the appointment. Not On. It is announced that Government has declined to co-operate with the otiier Australian Colonies and New Zealand, in measures which are being taken to induce the Government of the United States to reduce the duty levied on wool imported from the colonies.
