WILLOWEY.

A Sunday School anniversary was held' at Willowby, in the schoolroom, oh Wed nesday, Nov. 30. There was a good attendance of children, for whom (and -also for the numerous friends - who assembled) there was provided ah excellent tea by the ladies of the district. The children entered with great spirit.into the usual games, as did also many of ■ the visitors. Afterwards all assembled again in the schoolroom, which was prettily decorated • for 1 the occasion, and the even--ihg’s proceedings commenced by Mr Jos. Ward being voted to the chair. Speeches were delivered by the Rev. W.*Keall,Messrs H. M. Jones, Hodder, 0. Martin/ 0. C. Chapman, and Low, interspersed) with sacred pieces, sung in a very able manner by the scholars, led by ,theirmusical instructor (Mr Joseph Wheeler) and efficiently accompanied by Mr Thomas Wheeler on the harmonium. The usuM votes of tbanko to those_who had assisted at this very successful gathering, an<L the benediction by the Rev, Mr Keali, ter-', minated the proceedings. /
