MADAME LOTTIE WILMOT.

Madame Lottie Wilmot delivered her i opening lecture at the Town Hall last i evening to a moderate audience. This i lecture was upon the interesting topic of “Courtship and Marriage.” Madame i Wilmot has a pleasing delivery, perfect - self possession, and’ a good o£.' .< j language. She speaks with great rapidity, , too rapidly indeed. If the lecturesa told p her hearers little that was novel about i “ courtship and marriage,” she at least - told them much that was worth the telling, f and |tendered some excellent advice on “when to marry, how to marry, and 5 whom to marry.” The lecture waa interspersed with sundry “ goaks, aaArtemiu Ward would say, some of them old some E of them new, but all very enjoyable. To-night Madame Wilmot will deliver the second lecture. At the conclusion of the lecture last evening, Madame Wilmot sat in circle in her private sitting-room at her hotel, for the investigation of spiritualistic phenomena. _____
