AN ENGLISH MOODY AND
Messrs Fullerton and Smith,, two students from Mr Spurgeon’s College* have lately been holding Evangelistic services at the Shoreditch Tabernacle, and attracting great congregations three times a-day, not only by the power'of their oratory, but also by the charm of their playing upon a comet and a flute* It seems that liberal collections have rewarded the efforts of these young Evangelists, and the fact did not escape the notice of certain thieves, who sacrilegiously broke into the Tabernacle in hope of laying hands upon the money. There happened, however, to be no cash in the -place, and the robbers contented themselves with purloining Mr Fullerton’s flute.
