In pursuance of the “ Municipal Corporations Act, 1876,” and the “ Regulation of Local Electors Act, 1876.” I I hereby give notice that the Annual ELECTION of MAYOR, under the first mentioned Act, will be held at the Borough Council Chambers, Burnett street, Ashburton, on WEDNESDAY, the 30th day of NOVEMBER instant. Nominations of Candidates (which must be made in the manner prescribed in Clause 11, of the second undermentioned Act), will be received at the Town Clerk’s Office, till 12 o’clock noon, on MONDAY, thd 21st day of November, instant.
