]Per Press Association Special.] f Punoarbhu, To-day. / The arresting party has just been paraded, and more prisoners will be taken this morning. The natives have come determined to squat, and will not move until all have been arrested. Te Whiti had an interview with his son (who Is one of the guard watching the fence hear here) before leaving this morning. _ The lad was much affected, and cried, bitterly as Te Whiti was taken away. Capture of Twenty-eight Prisoners. Later. Twenty-eight prisoners were taken this morning, principally men belonging to the, .. Wanganui district. Arrival of the Three Chiefs at New Plymouth. New Plymouth, To-day. . The Taranaki Mounted Rifles, under Captain Davidson, arrived in town this: morning with Te Whiti, Tohu, and HirokL The prisoners were delivered ■ over to the New Plymouth gaoler’s - custody, and were confined in the ordinary cells. Hiroki was placed in'' h separate cell from Te Whiti and Tohu. The troops left Pungarehn at 4 o'clock, arriving at about 9. , >
