Too Much To Do. London, Nov. 7.
Owing to the enormous amount of business which continues to be brought before the Land Commissioners in Ireland, Government has been compelled to appoint several additional Sub-Commissioners to hold Courts for dealing with the great pressure of work.
Austria and Italy. Vienna, Nov. 7.
In the Lower House of the Austrian Reichstag to-day, Baron de Kallay, Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, made a statement to the effect that the recent visit of King Humbert of Italy to Vienna was made entirely at His Majesty’s own instigation. “ Austria,” the Under-Secretary added, “ had nothing to ask and nothing to fear from Italy.”
